In Kappa Alpha Theta, scholarship is our highest aim. Theta expects each member to develop a high level of intellectual achievement. Each chapter defines what GPA must be attained or maintained by members and officers. The GPA voted upon meets the standards of members and the given campus. Our efforts in academia are supported with the love of sisters and our Scholarship Director. The role of Scholarship Director is to set up optional study hours, provides encouragement, creates realistic plans for academic achievement, and plans the annual Scholarship Banquet. This Banquet celebrates all members who have achieved a certain GPA and recognizes a select number of professors for their dedication to teaching.
Our members have been awarded for their hard work through a number of honor societies, scholarships, and internships. On campus, these include: Order of Omega Honor Society, Alpha Eta Allied Health Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, Honors Student Association, iScholars, Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social work, Presidential Scholar Society, Psi Chi Honor Society in Psychology, Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society, and more.
