What a busy month January has been! With Winter Recruitment, Founders Day, and Bid Day having all come and gone, the Eta Omega chapter has seen an enormous growth in members, sisterhood, and memories!
First and foremost, we would like to welcome thirteen wonderful women into our sisterhood! Yesterday was an important day for Theta here at SLU as we celebrated our new members receiving their bids at a Frozen-themed celebration! If anything is worth melting for, it’s absolutely our sisters.
This past Tuesday was Kappa Alpha Theta’s official Founders Day, which presented an opportunity for the women in our chapter to reflect on the huge impact that the actions of Bettie, Bettie, Hannah, and Alice have had on women at over 135 chapters across the country. In order to celebrate the significance of our founding, the Eta Omega and the St. Louis Alumnae chapters hosted a Founders Day Brunch this past Saturday, during which we were all reminded of how thankful we are for the strives taken by these original four leading women.
January has been eventful to say the least, and we have so much more to look forward to this semester!
We are the Eta Omega chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Saint Louis University. We were established on November 9th, 2013. We have over 180 wonderful sisters that are alike in many ways but all with unique interests. Our blog will highlight many of these.
