Eta Omega held several tabling events throughout the week to raise funds for Voices for Children, the St. Louis branch of CASA. As the week was Fall themed, chapter members sold caramel apples, kettle corn, and baked goods. Additionally, members sold “Gobble Grams:” bags of candy with a personalized note attached. Members of the Service and Philanthropy committee will personally deliver the grams.
Moving forward, Eta Omega is excited to continue to bring awareness of CASA to the campus of Saint Louis University. Although individuals need to be 21 to volunteer as an advocate, it is important to call attention to the needs of the children who suffer from unfortunate circumstances beyond their control. In hosting a philanthropy week in the Fall and a signature event in the Spring, Eta Omega endeavors to spread the widest influence for good, especially for the children.
