Hello from the Eta Omega CEO! My name is Abbie Korte and I am so incredibly honored, blessed, and excited to serve as the CEO in this inaugural year for Kappa Alpha Theta at Saint Louis University.
In the past few months, I have made so many new friends and wonderful Thetasisters, and I look forward to making so many more in the future. I feel so fortunate to be part of such a strong, smart, and caring group of young women. I have already been on the receiving end of Theta love and support, and I want to let everyone know that I am ready to reciprocate that love and support in whatever capacity Theta may need. It is remarkable that a group of one hundred and forty three young women, essentially strangers a few months ago, has already been able to grow in love and friendship, creating a sincerely amazing sisterhood.
In the months to come, I am excited to help shape this sisterhood into all that we –the newest members of Kappa Alpha Theta –want it to be. I know I will be supported by all of my new sisters and with that support and our wonderful ELCs, I look forward to the positive impact we can make at Saint Louis University as leading women of Kappa Alpha Theta.
We are back on campus and back to work after a great Thanksgiving break! Being away from my sisters for the first time really made me thankful for all the memories that I have made. From bid day weekend to our first sisterhood events and even charter class meetings, this semester has been unforgettable. When family members asked me how school was going I told them how much fun Theta's first two events, "Black and GΘld" and "Red, Kite, and Blue," were to attend. I also shared how exciting our first officer elections were and how incredibly special the Big/Little reveal was for everyone. My sisters have made this semester go by so quickly that I can hardly believe Thanksgiving has come and gone! Below are just a few photos of what Eta Omega Thetas are thankful for this Thanksgiving.
We are the Eta Omega chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Saint Louis University. We were established on November 9th, 2013. We have over 180 wonderful sisters that are alike in many ways but all with unique interests. Our blog will highlight many of these.
